We were invited to a cottage by the lake to celebrate my mom's birthday. We were glad to visit with everyone and enjoy the sites and sounds of the big lake.
My sister has twins similar in age to my youngest - they were ready to go soak up the sunshine!
We came back and washed the sand off our feet.
There was a FEAST back at the cottage for an early diner.
After diner, we celebrated my mom's birthday with a special crazy chocolate cake made by my sister.
My littlest really enjoys "cawrs" and was delighted to see this giant car that he could drive (with some help).
After celebrating, we visited the water one last time. Daniel had fun with the castle he had built with his sisters.
It was a fun visit and I think my mom really enjoyed having family around to celebrate with her.
Children keep a person young, my mom is turning 73, she doesn't look her age at all!
