I was caring for my mother's dog.

A little girl wanted to pet the gog. I noticed that the girl kept rubbing her eyes as she pet the dog. She had Pink Eye.

The dog then developed Pink Eye and when my mother got the dog, she got Pink Eye as well.

I guess animals are good at picking up vectors.
