I took a day off today and went to the Birds Preserve area with my husband. I told him that there were thousands of birds in the Preserve at this time because they stayed there for drink and foods. He said that he wanted to check them out. I carried my Nikon camera this time, so I could take the better pictures.

This morning was windy and little bit chill. When we got there, there were only some ducks in the ponds and the geese flied around. We decided to walk around the Preserve first. There are two rivers jointed together in this area, and it creates this huge piece of wetlands. This wetland has two three hundred species there, like salmon, frog, all different type of birds, river otters, skunks, deer, bobcats, coyotes…But we saw the most were the birds.

After we walked 3 miles and came back to the bird watch area, there were actions there. The cranes and Canada geese made loud noises. Canada geese flied around the sky above us, but a group and a group of cranes from far away sky flied over. A lot of them already landed in the ponds, some of them were ready to land, others still flied over the sky, and another were coming from far away sky.

They stayed far from us. Luckily, I brought my Nikon camera to zoom in, so I could take some fantastic pictures. Here are the pictures that I took. Hope you enjoy!
