Get out, get active is so important in this pandemic period. As long as you wear a face mask, keep a distance with others in the open space, it should be safe. A lot of us are still teleworking at home, so why not get out and get active on the weekend.

I went out with my daughter to this new park to check it out on the weekend. It is close to where I lived before, so I am very familiar of the area. But it was still a piece of the land having tall weeds and some local trees without anyone took care of it.

After couples years, it has been converted to an aquatic center and a beautiful park. The aquatic center belongs to city has one indoor and one outdoor pools. For sure after this pandemic is over, we will need to check them out.

There were two islands with a man made river there, and some birds were already swimming there. The original trees were preserved in the islands or around the parks. We had to walk over a bridge to the other side of the park. Several sculptures were putting around. The city really spent a lot of money on this park to attract people to visit there.

There are 97 parks in my city, and this park is the newest one that the City spent 14 years to build it. All these pictures were taking there the last weekend. Hope you like them.
