There is a biggest park in the city. It is not too far from my house. The City always hostes the activity there, like annual pumpkin contest in October, fireworks in July, or music festival in veterans’ day.
I went there to take my kids to swimming lessons or pick them up after they finished playing music before, but I never took my time to enjoy and walk in the park.
This afternoobn we had a very nice weather after the sun burned the morning fog. I asked my daughter to go with me to have a nice walk in the park. She loves the nature and also likes walking.
Even though my city has 97 parks and each park has different features, this park is very unique to others because it has a huge pond and two islands in the middle. Not only that, there are tons of geese and ducks, many different kinds of birds, and a lot of squirrels.
Now we are in the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, so the gates accessed to islands were closed. The islands became animals’ heaven places. The geese took over the ponds, islands, or even the parks. They didn’t run away when they saw us walking by. A little kids and her grandma fed them with corns even the signs everywhere asked us not feeding the birds.
It was a nice walk with a nice view, so I used my IPhone Pro Max taking some pictures to share with the Liketu bloggers. Hope you like the pictures.
