The restaurant you see in the picture is called "Taro", a little Japanese restaurant in Soho, London. The first time I had dinner there was with namiks@namiks, we were exhausted of a day running through the streets of London and we needed something to revive us again.

At the time we entered the restaurant, it was pretty early for dinner time. It was a bit empty, but more comfortable for having a meal. Because of that, I also could shoot this photograph, being able to show how the whole restaurant is without having to puzzle a lot of people into my composition. Usually is very crowded at lunch or dinner time.

For dinner, namiks@namiks went for a delicious Beef Ramen, one of the bests I've ever tried before (yes, I stole a bit), and I ordered Chicken Katsu Curry. It was amazing, the flavours and how it was cooked, I can say it was the best Japanese curry I've ever tried.

When I developed the film roll, I didn't expect I would like the photo this much. Because of the colours and the texture, it kind of remind us of Wong Kar-Wai films, like Chungking Express or Fallen Angels.

The picture was shot with a Minolta X-700, a 50mm lens and a Kodak Gold 200.
