News from the beach!
Hallo. Neues vom Strand! Und zwar meinem Lieblingsstrand. Nicht das erste Mal, dass ich von diesem etwas zeige. Aber ich habe es geschafft, neue Momente einzufangen, die ich hier teilen möchte. Auch für mich sind die Bilder etwas Tolles, weil ich so weit keine Gelegenheit mehr hatte dort hinzugehen seit dem, aus welchen Gründen auch immer, das Meerwasser deutlich höher gestiegen ist als sonst und Teile vom Strand abgetragen hat. Danach wurde der Strand vorerst geschlossen.
Hello, news from the beach! Namely my favorite beach. Not the first time I show something from this one. But I managed to capture new moments that I want to share here. Also for me, the pictures are something great, because I had so far no opportunity to go there since, for whatever reason, the sea level has risen much higher than usual and has eroded parts of the beach. After that, the beach was closed for the time being.
Umgeben von Felsen. Hin und wieder lässt sich beobachten, wie die Wellen auf die Felsen schlagen und dann senkrecht in die Höhe schießt.
Surrounded by rocks. Every now and then you can watch how the waves hit the rocks and then shoot vertically upwards.
Und hier haben wir so ein Beispiel, wo der ganze Sand einfach Weg ist. Am oberen Ende vom Strand sollten die Wurzeln nicht sichtbar sein, auch nicht das Drahtgeflecht im Untergrund, welches wohl eigentlich helfen soll, die Küste zu befestigen. Wirkt quasi so, als ob der Strand um 1-2 Meter in die Tiefe verlegt wurde.

Pyrrosia ist der Name des Farns, welches sich hier über den gezeigten Baum ausgebreitet hat. Selbst bis hoch zu den höher gelegenen Ästen.

An dem Tag war besonders viel Los auf dem Wasser. Die zu einem vorherigen Zeitpunkt ausgelegten Netze wurden wieder hereingeholt. Eher selten, die Fischer so zahlreich am Mittag bei der Arbeit anzutreffen. Bevorzugt geht es am Abend auf das Wasser.

Was repräsentiert denn nicht einen tollen Strand mehr als die auftreffenden Wellen.

Ameisen gab es ebenfalls nicht zu knapp. Wie immer fleißig bei der Arbeit. Ständig wird irgendwas von A nach B transportiert.
Ants were also not in short numbers. As always, they are hard at work. Something is constantly being transported from A to B.
Zurück zu den Felsen. Hier gibt es die meiste Action.

Auch interessant, ist all das, was im Wasser treibt und angespült wird. Wie die Kokosnuss, die wie ein Schädel aussieht. Oder die super alte Flasche. Die Flasche muss schon seit geraumer Zeit auf dem Wasser treiben, so wie diese mittlerweile von außen aussieht.
Also interesting, is all that floats in the water and washes up. Like the coconut that looks like a skull. Or the super old bottle. The bottle must have been floating on the water for quite some time, the way it looks from the outside.
Ebenfalls interessant, ein Bach aus den Bergen, der sich seinen Weg durch den Strand gebahnt hat. Sieht aus wie ein kleiner Canyon.
Also interesting, a stream from the mountains that has made its way through the beach. Looks like a small canyon.
Zu guter Letzt die zumeist fast unsichtbaren, aber immer präsenten "Ghost Crabs".
Last but not least, the mostly almost invisible, but always present "Ghost Crabs".
