HOLO! Greetings dear community, every week I undertake a new creation inspired by Holozing and I feel satisfied with each of the results obtained, so it is inevitable that I feel excited to share with you, in this case I made a bracelet in the macramé technique inspired by the Wrackoo creature, which is of the grass type, I share with you the procedure and I include the graphic pattern so that it will be useful to you if you want to make one. I hope you like it.

HOlO! Saludos querida comunidad, cada semana emprendo una nueva creación inspirada en Holozing y me siento satisfecha por cada uno de los resultados obtenidos, así que es inevitable que me sienta entusiasmada en compartir con ustedes, en este caso hice un brazalete en la técnica macramé inspirado en la criatura Wrackoo, el cual es del tipo hierba, comparto con ustedes el procedimiento e incluyo el patrón gráfico para que les sea de utilidad si desean hacer uno. Espero les guste.

Materials / Materiales

• 1mm thick acrylic yarn: brown, light green, dark green, black, dark gray, white, yellow, light pink and beige.
• Clip board
• Scissors
• 30cm ruler
• Clothespin

• Hilo acrílico de 1mm de espesor: marrón, verde claro, verde oscuro, negro, gris oscuro, blanco, amarillo, rosado claro y beige.
• Tabla con clip
• Tijera
• Regla de 30cm
• Pinza para ropa

Process / Proceso

To make this bracelet I made a graphic pattern in the Pixel Station application, it allows you to paint frame by frame, the pattern consists of 24 squares vertically by 75 horizontally, when reading the pattern it is done vertically, that is, You need 24 guide threads and make 75 rows of knots.

Para hacer este brazalete hice un patrón gráfico en la aplicación Pixel Station, esta permite pintar cuadro por cuadro, el patrón consta de 24 cuadros en vertical por 75 en horizontal, a la hora de leer el patrón se hace de modo vertical, es decir, que se necesitan 24 hilos guía y hacer 75 hileras de nudos.

With the brown thread cut 10 strands of 60 cm and 2 strands of 80 cm. Hold the strands in half with the clip, leaving the two longest strands on each side. With the long strands, make 20 flat knots that wrap around the center strands. Flat knots are made by alternating the figure-4 knot and the P-shaped knot.

Con el hilo marrón cortar 10 hebras de 60 cm y 2 hebras de 80cm. Sujetar con el clip las hebras por la mitad dejando de cada lado las dos hebras mas largas. Con las hebras largas hacer 20 nudos planos que envuelvan a las hebras del centro. Los nudos planos se hacen alternando el nudo en forma de 4 y el nudo en forma de P.

Fold in a U shape and secure again with the clip, this way you obtain the 24 guide wires. Add the brown knotting thread and secure with a clothespin, the knotting thread should wrap around each of the guide threads twice, from left to right in the even rows and from right to left in the odd rows, in this first part only light green knotting thread is added, the knotting threads are crossed at the back.

Doblar en forma de U y sujetar nuevamente con el clip, de este modo se obtienen los 24 hilos guía. Agregar el hilo anudador marrón y sujetar con una pinza para ropa, el hilo anudador debe envolver dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía, de izquierda a derecha en las hileras pares y de derecha a izquierda en la hileras impares, en esta primera parte sólo se agrega el hilo anudador verde claro, los hilos anudadores se cruzan por detrás.

To make the figure, the other knotting threads must be added, they must be crossed behind according to the color change in the pattern, since each square represents a knot, until the figure is completed.

Para hacer la figura se deben agregar los demás hilos anudadores, se deben cruzar por detrás según corresponda el cambio de color en el patrón, pues cada cuadro representa un nudo, hasta completar la figura.

When the Wrackoo face is finished, the knotting threads are cut except for the brown and light green to continue the pattern sequence until reaching the last row. Then separate the threads into two parts and make two braids to finish the bracelet.

Al finalizar la cara de Wrackoo, se cortan los hilos anudadores menos el marrón y el verde claro para continuar la secuencia del patrón hasta llegar a la última hilera. Luego separar en dos partes los hilos y hacer dos trenzas para finalizar el brazalete.

Result / Resultado

I really liked this bracelet, I think that placing the brown background color was the right one to highlight the green and give it that grassy appearance 🌿 typical of the element of the figure, I hope you liked it.
