Tal como muchas personas de acá yo vengo desde la anterior plataforma, entonces la forma que me enteré de Hive fue precisamente cuando después de una pausa más o menos larga decidí hacer una publicación en mi blog y me di cuenta que todo había cambiado, al entrar a las salas de las comunidades habituales de discord para compartir mi enlace había todo un proceso de mudanza, es decir ahora todos hablaban del nacimiento de Hive, así que la primera impresión que tuve fue un sentimiento de temor, pensé que esto iba a ser como una especie de final trágico, donde todos abandonábamos un barco para subir a otro donde no sabíamos a donde nos dirigía, digo esto porque para los usuarios que para ese entonces no entendíamos (aún no entiendo muchas cosas) como se administraba la plataforma , era como si estuviéramos a ciegas, así que aunque suene un poco loco Hive en un principio me dio mucho miedo, obviamente mi impresión cambió cuando vi que todo a nivel de edición de las publicaciones era prácticamente con lo mismo en códigos de markdown y que en aspectos de curación ahora veía que recibía incluso más apoyo, pero mis comienzos fueron dando pasos temerosos pero al fin y al cabo seguían siendo pasos que me ayudaron a avanzar.

Una de las cosas nuevas que aprendí en Hive fue que es mejor hacer la publicaciones en dos idiomas, entonces las publicaciones tendrían más receptividad en aquellos usuarios y curadores potenciales de otros proyectos que para mi eran desconocidas hasta entonces, porque hasta ese momento eran muy pocas las comunidades de habla hispana, eso me pareció un conocimiento muy importante y sabiendo eso lo más difícil que se me presentó fue intentar hacer correctamente las traducciones de mis publicaciones de tejido, en inglés las puntadas del tejido no tienen una traducción literal en el otro idioma porque lo que me tocó aprender muchas cosas y hacer que mis instrucciones fueran comprensibles , eso me tomaba mucho tiempo al principio pero hoy a pesar de que sigue siendo un proceso detallado , lo hago con más confianza y rapidez.
