HOLO!!! Greetings dear Holozing community, I hope you are well, today I share with you a tutorial to make a necklace inspired by the Ocean Healer, for this I used the technique of having Kumihimo to make the cord and the macramé technique to make the figure, I share the detailed chart so you can use it as a guide.

Saludos querida comunidad de Holozing espero estén bien, hoy comparto con ustedes un tutorial para realizar un collar inspirado en la Sanadora del Océano , para esto usé la técnica de tener Kumihimo para hacer el cordón y la técnica de macramé para hacer la figura, les comparto el gráfico detallado de manera que lo puedan utilizar como guía.
Materials / Materiales
- 1mm acrylic crochet thread: blue, white, dark brown, light brown, beige, gray, dark yellow, light yellow and black.
- 30cm ruler
- Scissors
- 2 clothespins
- Table
- Kumihimo circular loom
- Pattern
- Hilo acrílico de 1mm para crochet: azul, blanco, marrón oscuro, marrón claro, beige, gris, amarillo oscuro, amarillo claro y negro.
- Regla de 30cm
- Tijera
- 2 pinzas para ropa
- Tabla
- Telar circular Kumihimo
- Patrón
Process / Proceso
Cut 7 strands of 1.5 meters: 4 blue, 3 yellow and 1 gray. Tie a knot at the end and pass through the central hole of the kumihimo loom. Insert the threads into the slots of the loom, leaving number 1 free.
Cortar 7 hebras de 1.5 metros: 4 azules, 3 amarillas y 1 gris. Hacer un nudo en la punta y pasar por el agujero central del telar kumihimo. Introducir los hilos en las ranuras del telar dejando la número 1 libre.
Working with the kumihimo loom is very simple, you must always occupy the empty slot with the thread that is third from the left, that is, the thread always jumps two places, as can be seen in the images.
Trabajar con el telar kumihimo es muy sencillo, siempre se debe ocupar la ranura vacía con el hilo que está de tercer lugar a la izquierda, es decir que el hilo siempre salta dos lugares, tal como se puede observar en las imágenes.
Continue the sequence of changing places of thread in the slots of the kumihimo loom until the cord obtained reaches a length of 50 cm. Then tie a knot at the other end.
Continuar la secuencia de cambios de lugar de hilo en la ranuras del telar kumihimo hasta que el cordón obtenido alcance la longitud de 50 cm. Luego hacer un nudo en el otro extremo.
Surround the board with the cord and tie. Separately cut 11 strands of 30 cm of light yellow yarn, plus an additional strand attached to the ball. Take the strands in half and knot in the center of the cord tied to the board. Place the thread attached to the first ball on the left, thus obtaining 23 guide threads and the knotting thread.
Rodear la tabla con el cordón y anudar. Aparte cortar 11 hebras de 30 cm de hilo amarillo claro, además de una hebra adicional unida al ovillo. Tomar las hebras por la mitad y anudar en el centro del cordón atado a la tabla. Ubicar la hebra unida al ovillo de primer lugar a la izquierda, de ese modo se obtienen 23 hilos guía y el hilo anudador.
From this moment on, you must tie the knots according to the pattern, which has 23 guide threads and 22 rows of knots, starting the first row from left to right and the second from right to left and so on.
A partir de este momento se debe hacer los nudos conforme al patrón, el cual tiene 23 hilos guía y 22 hileras de nudos, se comienza la primera hilera de izquierda a derecha y la segunda de derecha a izquierda y así sucesivamente.
In this technique the knotting thread wraps each of the guide threads twice, the color changes are made by crossing the knotting threads behind. At the end of the last row, group the knotting threads into 4 parts and tie a knot, using scissors to match the ends to create fringes.
En esta técnica el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía, los cambios de color se hacen cruzando por detrás los hilos anudadores. Al finalizar la última hilera, agrupar en 4 partes los hilos anudadores y hacer un nudo, con una tijera emparejar las puntas para crear flecos.
