Saludos queridas madres y padres de esta comunidad, hace unos días compartí el primer amigurumi hecho por mi hijo Rafael que tiene 7 años, pero algo asombroso ocurrió después, pues resulta que la pasión por el crochet está invadiendo a mi familia, cuando mi sobrino Lucas de 8 años vio el amigurumi hecho por mi hijo, se sintió muy emocionado y con muchas ganas de aprender también, por eso me pidió que lo enseñara, acá les comparto un poco como fue esta experiencia.

Les voy a ser completamente sincera, mi sobrino no es muy apegado a mi, sin embargo, el ama jugar con mi hijo, no estoy diciendo que no me quiera solo que no es común que el se dirija a mi, así que me sorprendió su interés por querer aprender crochet, no se como son sus habilidades para las manualidades, pero mi hermana me ha dicho que es muy bueno en matemáticas, lo malo fue que no tengo estambre del grueso, que es el ideal para aprender, solo tenía un poco de varios colores, pero eso no fue excusa, le dije que le enseñaría a hacer la cadeneta y que si seguía aprendiendo le enseñaría a hacer un amigurumi, eso fue hace tres días, el aprendió a hacer la cadeneta esa misma tarde, así que le enseñé como hacer el punto bajo en tejido recto y logró hacerlo excelente.

Me encantó ver que mi sobrino tiene buena capacidad de concentración y habilidad numérica, se comportó muy disciplinado, incluso más que Rafael quien se distrae fácilmente, me pude dar cuenta que existen diferencias notables en las habilidades de un niño un año y medio mayor, esa tarde el pidió a mi hermana permiso para quedarse en mi casa, al día siguiente (ayer) me pidió comenzar a hacer el crochet en circular para poder hacer un amigurumi, mi sobrino logró hacerlo muy bien ,hizo una pequeña esfera con estambre blanco y gris, la idea era hacer la cabeza de un conejito porque no teníamos suficiente estambre. Ayer en la tarde mi hermana y su esposo vinieron a buscar a mi sobrino, lo encontraron trabajando con el crochet, casi se pone a llorar porque no quería irse sin terminar, así que mi hermana le permitió quedarse de nuevo.

Yesterday afternoon my sister and her husband came looking for my nephew, they found him working with crochet, he almost started crying because he didn't want to leave without finishing, so my sister allowed him to stay again.

Le dije a mi sobrino que hiciera adicionalmente 20 cadenas con estambre gris para que la cosieramos en la cabeza del conejo, como pueden ver en la foto hace unas cadenas muy lindas del mismo tamaño y con la misma tensión del estambre. Mi sobrino esta muy feliz con el resultado, esperando a su mamá para darle el conejito de regalo para que lo coloque en las llaves o en su carro.

Debido al paro de maestros mi sobrino no esta asistiendo a la escuela, así que no tiene la oportunidad de compartir con sus compañeros, esto hace que sea aún más importante la visita a mi casa para compartir tiempo con mi hijo, pero esta vez, el se quiso quedar tres días en mi casa para aprender algo nuevo y al mismo tiempo pasar tiempo de disfrute, creo que esta experiencia es muy bonita y espero mi hermana y su esposo se entusiasmen con la idea y compren muchos estambres y ganchillo para que mi sobrino practique en su casa.
