Jared Leto was born on December 26, 1971, he is an American actor, singer, songwriter, musician, director, producer, activist, philanthropist, photographer and businessman. In addition to a career in film, Leto is also a career in music. He is the lead vocalist, and songwriter for the band Thirty Seconds To Mars, the band he formed in Los Angeles with his brother Shannon Leto.
The band gained popularity worldwide after the release of A Beautiful Lie (2005). Their next album, This Is War (2009) and Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams (2013). Until 2013, the band has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Leto also directed music videos, "The Kill" (2005), "Kings and Queens" (2009), and "Up In The Air" (2013)
