Today, I wanna share about something interesting and special from my village, Sintang, West Borneo.
Since a long time ago, West Borneo was the largest producer of palm fruit industry in Indonesia.
In this region there are so many plantations, such as rubber, wood, pepper, and of course one of the leading commodities that we are discussing in this post, it's palm fruit.
By this post, a wanna share to you about an experience. yesterday I was visited my friend's house in Sintang, I passed a very large oil palm plantation and had thousands of oil palm plants on the land on the left and right of the road.
The area was estimated to reach hundreds of hectares, and it's filled with palm trees that are still small and already bearing fruit.
for those of you who have never seen palm fruit directly, the palm fruit is round, black in color and relatively small in size with a large number in one trunk.
Palm fruit has high economic value because it is the main raw material for palm oil production.
First of all, the oil palm fruit will be harvested from the plantations, then officers gonna taken it to a palm oil processing factory to be processed into products such as cooking oil or something like that.
