The hortillonnages are a unique site located in Amiens, in the Hauts-de-France region of France. They consist of a network of floating gardens and canals, covering approximately 300 hectares, and represent a remarkable historical, cultural, and natural heritage. My wife and I had long wished to see them, and today, we finally did!
Needless to say, it was a great pleasure to be amidst such lush and relaxing nature.

Les hortillonnages sont un site unique situé à Amiens, dans la région des Hauts-de-France, en France. Ils consistent en un réseau de jardins flottants et de canaux, couvrant environ 300 hectares, et constituent un patrimoine historique, culturel et naturel remarquable. Il y a longtemps que nous souhaitions les voir avec mon épouse et c'est, aujourd'hui, chose faite !
Inutile de vous dire que ce fut un grand moment de plaisir que d'être au milieu de cette nature si verdoyante et reposante.
