Happy weekend to everyone 🌸Since I have to spend this weekend at home, I can't go out and do a new activity, I know I have summer flu. On these days when I have to stay at home and rest, I wanted to share with you an activity I did last week.
Last Sunday was very beautiful and very hot. There was a botanical park I wanted to visit for a long time. In addition, the monotony of city life was starting to bore me a lot and I found myself wanting to go somewhere green.
Our route was the Botanical Park in Bakırköy. When I searched on the internet, a woman wrote about the beautiful pictures she took during her visits and her likes, and I have been wanting to go here since last year, but we could not find the opportunity. We always postponed it because we coincided with rainy weather, and finally, we were able to go these days when summer days came, but it made me wish we had not gone 😞
Anyway, last Sunday morning came and I woke up and had breakfast and then prepared some food for a little picnic. A sandwich for me and my fiancé, some olives, cheese, salami, and snacks of walnuts and chocolate dragees 😝😁
It was close to Metrobus and Metro, we met at İncirli Metrobus stop and walked to this park. We bought something to drink before coming because it was extremely hot.
On Sundays, there was a bazaar close to this place, but we didn't enter it because it was crowded, even though the roadworks blocked the entrance to the park, we finally found it and reached the park. Maybe we walked to the wrong side or the entrance was changed due to roadworks, I don't know, but we had to go down a long staircase to get to the park. The stairs were very unstable and some of them were broken. When we went down, we saw a cafeteria but nobody was sitting inside, there was a square-like area and on the right side there was a place with Pegasuses, which was the only beautiful spot.
There were two toilets in this park as far as I could see and both of them were in a disgraceful condition, I guess they are never cleaned. There was a restaurant on the other side of the park and while we were passing by, someone was getting married inside, I think it was a place hired for weddings, and while we were having a picnic, 3 brides and grooms came and took photos around the pond in the middle of the park.
At the same time, this park was close to the Bakırköy Metro, and the metro could be seen passing by on one side of the park. But it was a very fast and short passage and I couldn't catch a photo of it.
There were a lot of people coming to have a picnic, it was a free park and I guess that's why there were a lot of people coming to make the most of Sunday, just like us.
There were plenty of woods and greenery and fortunately, we were able to find a tree shade because it was not like sitting under the sun in hot weather. There was no place to sit other than the soil, unfortunately, there were no benches, gazebos, etc. built here. Although it was a bit uncomfortable to sit on the ground, it felt good to energetically touch the soil.
As soon as we found a place, we started to eat what we bought from the market with what I brought with me, and I thought of taking photos halfway 🤣 There were not many things to take pictures around, I only took the pond with the Pegasus I liked and the bridge over the pond.
There are plenty of hills and the grass on these soil hills had not been mown for a long time. Since it was free of charge, it didn't look like a place where much maintenance was done. It was as if it was abandoned. Because of the botanical park in the name, I would have liked to see a few greenhouses and various flowers being grown here, but it was just a small grove. There were more children's toys but they were old and worn out. Since the pond was not bad, newly married couples were coming and taking photos. While we were watching them, we talked about where we would like to have outdoor shooting in the future.
We sat here for a few hours, ate our meals, drank our fruit juices, and chatted. Frankly, I didn't like the place at all and I don't think I'll ever go back. But it was good to be in nature, spend some time in the greenery and sit with the two of us and have a nice chat. Of course, it would have been even better if I hadn't been sick the very next day 🤣

Herkese mutlu hafta sonları 🌸Bu hafta sonunu evde geçirmek zorunda olduğum için dışarı çıkıp yeni bir aktivite yapamıyorum malum yaz nezlesi oldum. Evde kalıp dinlenmem gereken bu günlerde bende geçen hafta yaptığım bir etkinliği sizinle paylaşmak istedim.
Geçen pazar günü çok güzeldi ve çokta sıcaktı, belki de şifayı o gün kaptım bilmiyorum ama o günün hakkını verdiğimiz söylenebilir. Uzun bir zamandır gitmeyi istediğim bir botanik parkı vardı. Ayrıca şehir yaşamının monotonluğu da beni epey sıkmaya başlamıştı ve kendimi yeşillik bir yere gitmek isterken buldum.
Rotamız Bakırköy'de bulunan Botanik Parkıydı. İnternette araştırdığımda bir kadın ziyaretlerinde çektiği güzel resimleri ve beğenilerini yazmıştı ve ben de buraya gitmeyi geçen seneden beri istiyordum ama bir türlü fırsat bulamamıştık. Yağmurlu havalara denk geldiğimizden hep ertelemiştik nihayet yaz günlerinin geldiği bu günlerde gidebildik ama keşke gitmeseydik dedirtti 😞
Neyse, geçen pazar sabah geldi ve uyanıp önce kahvaltı ettim daha sonra yanıma minik bir piknik için yiyecek bir şeyler hazırladım. Hem kendime hem de nişanlıma birer sandviç, biraz zeytin, peynir, salam ve atıştırmalık kuruyemiş ve çikolata drajeleri 😝😁
Metrobüs ve Metroya yakın bir yerdeydi biz İncirli Metrobüs durağında buluştuk ve yürüyerek bu parka geldik. Gelmeden de içecek bir şeyler aldık çünkü hava aşırı sıcaktı.
Pazar günleri buraya yakın bir konumda pazar da varmış ama kalabalık olduğu için girmedik, yol çalışmaları biraz parkın girişini kapatsa da sonunda bulduk ve parka ulaştık. Belki biz yanlış tarafa doğru yürüdük ya da yol çalışmasından dolayı giriş değiştirilmişti bilmiyorum ama parka gidebilmek için uzunca bir merdivenden inmemiz gerekti. Merdivenler çok dengesizdi ve bazıları kırılmıştı. Aşağıya indiğimizde bir kafeterya gördük ama içeride kimse oturmuyordu, bir meydan gibi alan vardı ve sağ tarafta Pegasusların olduğu bir yer vardı ki burası güzel olan tek noktaydı.
Burada biraz fotoğraf çektikten sonra etrafı biraz dolaştık. Bu parkta görebildiğim kadarıyla iki tane tuvalet vardı ve ikisi de rezalet durumdaydı, sanırım hiç temizlenmiyor. Parkın diğer bir uzunda bir restoran vardı ve biz önünden geçerken içeride birileri evleniyordu sanırım düğün yapmak için tutulan bir yer zaten piknik yaptığımız esnada da 3 tane gelin ve damat geldi ve parkın ortasında bulunan göletin etrafında fotoğraf çekildiler.
Aynı zamanda Bakırköy Metrosuna da yakın olan bu parkın bir kenarından sürekli geçen metro da görülebiliyordu. Ama çok hızlı ve kısa bir geçişti bunu yakalayamadım.
Piknik yapmak için gelen çok sayıda insan vardı, burası ücretsiz bir parktı ve sanırım bu yüzden pazar gününü değerlendirmek için gelen çok insan vardı aynı bizim gibi.
Ağaçlık ve yeşillik boldu ve iyi ki bir ağaç gölgesi bulabildik çünkü sıcak havada güneş altında oturulacak gibi değildi. Topraktan başka da oturulacak bir yer yoktu maalesef burada bank, çardak vb bir şey yapılmamıştı. Toprak zeminde oturmak biraz rahatsız edici olsa da enerjisel olarak toprağa temas etmek iyi geldi.
Bir yer bulur bulmaz yanımda getirdiklerimle marketten aldıklarımızı yemeğe koyulduk, fotoğraf çekmek yarısında aklıma geldi 🤣 Etrafta da pek çekilecek şeyler yoktu sadece hoşuma giden Pegasuslarla göleti, göletin üzerinden geçen köprüyü çektim.
Engebesi bol ve bu toprak engebeler üzerindeki çimenler uzun zamandır biçilmemişti. Ücretsiz olduğu için pek bakım yapılan bir yere benzemiyordu. Sanki terk edilmiş gibiydi. İsminde geçen botanik parktan dolayı ben burada bir kaç sera ve buralarda da çeşitli çiçeklerin yetiştirildiğini görmek isterdim ama burası ufak bir korudan halliceydi. Daha çok çocuk oyuncakları vardı ama bunlarda eskimiş ve yıpranmıştı. Gölet fena durmadığından arada yeni evlenen çiftler gelip fotoğraf çekip gidiyordu. Biz onları izlerken ilerde bizim nerede dış çekim yapmak isteyeceğimizden konuştuk.
Bir kaç saat burada oturduk, yemeklerimizi yedik, meyve sularımızı içtik ve sohbet ettik. Açıkçası mekanı hiç beğenmedim ve tekrar gitmeyi hiç düşünmüyorum. Ama doğanın içinde olup, biraz yeşilliklerde vakit geçirmek ve baş başa oturup güzel sohbet etmek iyi geldi. Tabi keşke hemen ertesi günü hasta olmasaydım daha da iyi olurdu 🤣
