We have been hanging out at Sandy Island off the west coast of Carriacou this past week. Carriacou is a dependency of Grenada in very southern part of the Grenadine island chain. With hurricane season finishing up we have a chance to head off again soon. Where we are heading and what that looks like in the time of Covid remains to be seen.

It’s a mid-morning drone shot; we (SV Cirrus) are the middle boat of the three. In most cases with photography the light closest so sunrise or sunset is the best, but with tropical islands you need the sun to be a reasonable height overhead if you want the polarizer to work its magic removing the glare and exposing the reef.
