The coming blood moon this week will be the longest lunar eclipse in almost 600 years. I will be just after sunset for those on the Australian east coast. The chance to shoot a blood moon with a forground (as it rises after sunset) was something I was excited about. Here is a shot of a blood moon with the sun just returning to the side of it from a few years ago that I shot while in Canada.
Despite being excited to see it the cloud chart below for our area looks nasty. but 95% chance of cloud is not 100%. Where some chance remains there is still hope lol
