Water magic ignored the defense and secured the victory.

Hello everyone, It’s me, @intishar once again here. Honestly, the battle of Splinterlands is indeed tough for me after reaching the Gold League. All the opponents I met here are good enough for making good strategies. So, winning battle against them is not easy and it’s understandable for tough battle while facing them. In recent days I love using water elements for battle because I love to use magic power.

In the last battle I used “Marlai Singariel” as my Archon and it was the battle against “Aurelia”. My Archon has the power to increase the magic ability, and opponent’s Archon has the power to increase the health. The battle was interesting as the Archon of my opponent was one level higher than my Archon. Let me share about the battle.

In that battle max mana cap was 60 which was good enough for selecting any card. Ruleset was “Unprotected” means no Armor for any units. In this battle I used “Asel Alagosdil” at the 1st position because of divine shield of it that can protect the card from an attack and with the ruleset it was the best one for the 1st position. “Great Bear Druid” was used in the 2nd position for having good health. Besides it could do magic and melee attack at the same time and that’s why it was a suitable one for that position.

“Aimee Whisperwind” was placed in the 3rd position. I thought it would be good to have a card to do snipe attack to the opponent units, and its attack power was two and heath of it was 5 which was decent enough to use the card. “Saltwater Mage” was in 4th position. It had 3 magic powers with the Archon ability, and it attacked the last card of the opponent. Naturally it was a good choice for placing in the 4th position. In that way they can’t could survive for longer time as I kept it in the middle.

“Mystic Scaleweaver” is one of my favorite cards. It has 3 magic attack powers and its life is 7, which is high enough to survive for longer time. Besides it reduces the speed of opponent which can give me lead from various aspects. So, it was in the 5th position and in the last position my selected card was the “Vengeful Monk” which is another favorite card even if its health wasn’t so high. This one was selected for 2 snipe attack power, and I wanted to protect “Mystic Scaleweaver” in case my opponent attacks my last card. I just tried to be more careful in this battle.

It was a close battle, and I think my opponent also came with a good team combination, but I was slightly better and it let me win the battle with narrow margin. I lost my 4 cards from my team units but still it was a win for me. The battle was interesting. I recommend you watch the battle and here is the Battle link.
