Ne Zha is a Chinese animated film that released in 2019 based on Chinese mythology. It is 1 hour and 50 minutes and it was on my watch list for several years. I saw you clips about it in YouTube shorts and I saved the name to watch later.
The main character of this animated film is Ne Zha. Due to unfortunate situation are for the twist of his fate he was branded as demon or monster from his birth. His parents kept him alive with the condition of taking responsibility for his actions even if people wanted him to be killed. Again, his lifetime was also limited for few years.
He was isolated from people because he was different from general people because of twisted fate. He was talented and instead of keeping him under house arrest he figured out the way it's time to go outside of house. As a growing kid he was naughty and used to create chaos in the village. He used to have fun in that way while every villager was afraid of him and trying to escape from him. Because of that people used to hate him and there are no friends of his. Actually, he was quite lonely even if his parents and master tried to keep him company, but it was not enough.
People also miss understanding him and blame him for something he didn't do. Ao Bing was a side character developed there, and he was the first friend of Ne Zha, and he promised to play with him whenever he wants and Ao Bing also has the mission to carry the fate of dragon and its heavy responsibility and Ne Zha were also his first friend.
There the personality of Ne Zha was quite impressive. People said that fate was predetermined but Ne Zha thinks his fate was not something that people say and he is the one to control his fate. The bonding between Ne Zha and his parents was amazing and some of the scenes were touching.
Instead of twist of fate, he earned the respect of people at the very end, and he saved people using his power. Why he had a twisted fate and how his bonding between his parents and his friend grows is something worthy to watch. It's not an extraordinary one but it’s good to watch sharing meaningful messages. To feel free to watch it. Story telling was quite good, and I recommend you watch it if you have time.
