Equal Pay will not be Beneficial

We are human and we need food to lead our life. If we want to buy food then, we need money and for earning money we used to do a job, business, or other things. That means we need to work for earning money and we receive money for our work. In our workplace there exist several kinds of categories and based on categories the salary is different and everywhere the system is the same.

Many of us believe in equality and we try to establish equality in almost every place. Many of us think that the world will be peaceful if equality can be established. It's still a debate where both parties have their own logic. it's true that establishing equality in every case is not an easy task. In the case of equal pay in the workplace is a very much possible thing but will it be beneficial for us or will it create disturbance? What do you think?

To understand the matter I am taking a factory as an example. In a factory there exist several kinds of categories means there are several positions. There are laborers, engineers, managers, machine operators and so many other types of categories. The contribution of each category is different from each other. Some contributions are based on physical exertion Some contributions are based on physical exercise and some contributions are based on mental exertion. The laborers at the ones who give the physical excursion mostly than other categories of workers. But the payment of laborers is the lowest in a factory. The salary of machine operators and a little bit higher than labourers, then engineers then the managers. Salary increases with positions.

Engineers and managers contribute in a factory mostly based on mental excursion. Some people may think their effort is less but I don't think so. To get the position they complete study, gain knowledge and they give a lot of time and effort for it and after that, they get such kind of position. So I think comparing their efforts with laborers is totally illogical. I can't ignore their dedication and hard work in the past to reach their current position. And you know that knowledge is power and to run a factory their contribution plays a great role.

Believe it or not, humans are running after money and because of it education has become very popular among humans and the ultimate goal is to get a good job to earn huge money in a better position. If the salary became some then why do ones make an effort to study because most people will not be interested in studying at that time? And if such kind of situation appear then it will be very difficult to continue running a factory without suitable managers and engineer.

Again in each category, there exists some category that means various kinds of positions like first level workers, and second-level workers, based on working and ability they get promotions to the upper level and their salary also increases with it. So they have dedication to improve themselves and increase their ability to get promotions to earn more. It's one kind of competition also but if the salary remains the same then why anyone will be interested in a promotion and why they will try to give more effort and increase their ability? It's natural there will be no motivation for them.

Diversity is the thing which makes the world beautiful. It is the thing which creates a balance and each thing plays an important role. In the case of salary, it's also the same. I described it by an example of a factory but it is applicable for each case.

So in my opinion making an equal pay system is not an wise idea and I won't make such kind of system because it will create an imbalance only and destroy the whole system.
