I completely agree with one point that herd mentality is dangerous. But at the same time it has to be the members of the community who will have to support the development of this community as well. There would be cons as well as benefits of any activity.

May be at a later stage when there is enough fund received we can propose a governing council for the @pob-fund account. This would give some transparency and trust to the project and the spend on the project.
Secondly, there is a very strong tone at the top. Community owner account is very down to earth and interacts with every community member personally, i guess this level of transparency can be beneficial in creating the factor of trust among all the members of community.
