Mixed Community Performance and Engagement

Engagement has started growing up once again. Lots of posts on the platform are seeing heightened number of comments but, the engagement numbers are tricky this week.

Interactions and investors have registered growth over past week, along with the growth of the active users. Overall numbers are looking promising. #dailypob activity is also stabilized.

Highlights of the week

• 1531 (Last week 1437) subscribers to the community - Growth of 5.7%.
• 673 (Last week 688) active users are actively posting on POB - This parameter indicates that there is a decline of 7% in the active users.
• There are about 4731 (Last week 4538) investors who are/were holding POB tokens. A small growth of 4%.

Active Users is key factor too

• The active users are indicating continuous decrease.
• This is not a really good sign.
• The increased activity with decreasing active users is further indicators of problems as this means only handful users are engaging more and more on the platform.
• This indicates the concentration risk.
• The actives users decreased by 2%, however the engagement increased 14% on weekly basis.
• Per user interaction has grown up by 17% to 9.8. Which means in the last week, every active user is posting at-least 10 comments.

Engagement is the key

#pob platform was always known for the engagement it generated for the #hive platform. Last week witnessed a increase of 15% in interactions or comments from the last week.

#POBtalk Strengthens its position

Overall lackluster performance of the community was also seen in the #pobtalk initiative. However, the engagement on this platform was better than overall engagement and helped #pobtalk to strengthen its position further. For the week ended 4th August, #pobtalk engagements are more than 15% of the total interactions on the platform. This is more or less same and this initiative started by @vempromundo.pob is now getting a lot of traction on the platform.

Overall, though the week was good for #pobtalk, platform witnessed 25% reduction in the engagement over the last week.
