The illogic runneth thus:

1. All the perishable goods attract pests
2. Too many chemicals to control pests spoil the value of my merch
3. Natural pest control is therefore better
4. Dogs require too much of my time, which is important
5. Cats are very low maintenance, they can look after themselves
6. Skitties are way too costly
7. Outta my way you stupid cats!
8. What do I care if some of them get loose?

Dereggers are a bit daft, to be honest.

As for the cat - she's very good at passing on her genes. She got Humans to look after her litters for her. Saves so much time.

I agree with you on the not-cute people. Just don't tell them they're adorable.
