Why do the Deregger ships just leave cats everywhere, are they the type of people that have to bring their "beloved" pets with them everywhere they move only to find out that it's too expensive to transport them back and suddenly they don't love them anymore?

That cat doesn't sound very good at passing on their genes x_x
