It was a Human song of triumph, so of course it contained references to violence and, because of the culture of origin, going it all alone. Which is ridiculous. Society doesn't exist on an individual basis. There is no way, for example, that an infant is capable of making its own food and clothes.
Companion Lythe still let Human Bo have their victory song, all the same. Right up to the soaring crechendo. "I have to wonder, Human Bo. How does the Human who the song is about get along with others? What happens if he needs medical attention?"
"What? Oh. No. This isn't about that. It's about the success. Going it alone. Doing the thing you love and being good at it and making it to the top--" here, they broke off to sing, "Myyyyy waaaaayyyy..."
"Yes, I did understand the lyrics. I merely find the philosophy perplexing. Even a performer needs an audience in order to succeed. They don't as you say, 'go it alone'. Not ever. In order to succeed, one needs a great deal of people to notice you are there, then decide you are good."
"Okay. Yeah. I get it. But the most successful people attribute their success to themselves, not the actions of others. So... kind of boiled into the recipe, you know? As a victory song, it's still cool. For the personal stuff. Which this was."
Human Bo had a point. "So what enormous personal victory did you win, Human Bo?"
"I poured the exact amount of water for my sourdough to the gram on my first try! I never flakkin' do that."
Having been downwind of Human Bo's soft cussing involving their living bread, Lythe could believe it. "Truly an accomplishment worthy of song."
