Truth about Valentine's Day

Valentines Day is almost over and I've been spending it working. Almost all day through. Fortunately I did have few moments to think about Valentines Day, and here are some of the absolute facts about this day for you. I did however have some help. I ordered @penderis to come up with few sentences that summarize Valentine's Day, because we do not have a Valentine's Day here in Finland, so I know nothing about it. We have Ystävänpäivä. Word for word translation is Friends Day. So no Valentinus, just friends. Although I don't have those either, so I have no clue what I'm talking about.

I mixed my words with @penderis's awesome thoughts, your job is to figure out which are mine, which are from @penderis's brain. If you know the correct answers, you will get nothing. So here we go! And thanks @penderis, I owe you a favor, I hope the favor is something I'm happy to give back. :D

Oh and one thing, I am not that happy with the final results. The texts are either awesome or okay, the original photos are just perfect, but the results are... so and so. Done with haste. So here you are, no need to thank me. In my opinion, best first and not so good pictures last.

Third one is absolutely my favourite. Are you sick of people bragging in Facebook with things that they have and how freakishly happy they are? Me too. They should stop. We all know they are unhappy and their perfect posts are just desperate attempts to deny, deny, deny and deny. Deny the truth. Their life sucks. #bestever #ilovemylife #happyvalentine

The government invented it with big corporations. Don't be fooled. And I'm pretty sure there's a conspiracy theory there somewhere too. #trustnoone

Guilt and threats. Lovely things to use when talking to your spouse / partner / husband / wife. "You never..." "I always..." "Do this or else..." "If you don't I will leave you!" #younever #ialways

Valentine's Day is just a normal day. Like CAPS LOCK DAY. And national batteries day. I don't celebrate those, so why would I celebrate Valentine's Day? #leavemealone

And last but not least. This pic, it's design is straight from the 90's. From some soap thingy like Days of Our Lives or something that was a big thing back then. I wouldn't know 'cause I watched Sci Fi, horror and action films and TV-series.

So here these were, my blood, sweat and tears. Jörö (one of my cats) has scratched my elbow for a while now, so I better be a good friend to him and the other one (Amanda), lift my ass from my chair and give them food. Friends for food. I think it's a good trade.
