Tighnari released back in v3.0 with Sumeru. That was four years ago. Thanks to the anniversary freebie selector I now have him. Dehya was the previous Sumeru character I couldn't get until this selector thing and she was the first one I used it on. When I got Qiqi back in year 2 I had collected all of the standard characters until they added Tighnari a year later so now finally I have all the Standard Banner characters again haha
The rest of the anniversary rewards won't be happening until later. There is a second character selector that's more interesting but you are required to complete the new Archon Quest acts first so that'll be part of the second half banner video unlike in Zenless where Lucia just came home on update day and her signature weapon too. It was instead Dialyn who was part of the really cool triple banner with the guaranteed first drop that was part of the second half of the Zenless anniversary.
Anyway in terms of the banners, we've got both of the new characters running together this time. It's just like two years ago when they had Mavuika and Citlali run at the same time. As characters, they aren't quite as interesting as those two though. For exploration I think Vesna has the edge. Vodyanitsa would have had it except they nerfed her. She can only go boat mode for 10s and since she uses stamina, if she gets out of swimming mode and she doesn't have stamina left she'll drown. Vesna flies pretty quick though. Unfortunately if you want to reach high places with her, she has a hard limit of three super jumps that all require stamina on top and then she can't ascend anymore.
All in all I definitely have to give the edge to the Zenless anniversary. I think everybody was really excited about it. Free super character in Lucia. You got to put three previously limited characters onto the pool of gacha loss drops (and I've already gotten one of them from a loss) we got more currency, a brand new game mode that is so cool and finally that triple banner which gave us another super character Dialyn. (or you could have chosen Yuzuha or even Harumasa)
