This banner is almost exactly the same as the last time Skirk and Escoffier reran and that banner back then just combined the Escoffier and Skirk debut banners. Basically the first time Skirk released we also had Dahlia's release. Along with them we had Candace and then Diona and Shenhe. For the rerun, Shenhe was replaced with Escoffier for her rerun and then they changed Diona who is a launch character with the newer character of Charlotte. Then this time all they did was replace Charlotte with Mika. Diona, Charlotte and Mika are all Cryo Characters too.
Anyway since it's the same, I'm just going to bring up how they actually downgraded the banner. Candace and Dahlia aren't really good but back then Diona would have been the best one out of the three. Charlotte is worse than Diona and now Mika is worse than Charlotte. And finally while Skirk is still a pretty good DPS character, Escoffier actually has been powercrept by the new character Odette because Odette has the new Stellar Glimmer ability so you can get these very powerful Stellar Conduct or Stellar Swirl reactions that Escoffier can't do. That being said, I still use Escoffier. If you're not able to bring in an Electro or Anemo Character then Odette's no better than her and in terms of Skirk, you can't since she needs only Hydro and Cryo teams. This then means you can bring along the new Vodyanitsa who powers up Hydro and Cryo damage.
But personally I'm waiting. Next up is Mitya and Valeriy and I really liked Mitya's character from the story. What about you guys? And yes we're seeing many Electro Characters this year. Alyosha is already our new common character and then we have Mitya, Valeriy and Danica at least for rare characters. This is all in service of that Stellar Conduct damage I brought up. Soon we'll have the release of the final Archon Character, Anastasya Snezhnaya who should be the best for Stellar Glimmer. In fact she may even debut not as an Archon but as the "first angel."
