"Spooky Wonder" 2010. copper etching
Thought I'd share an older print that I made while I was in school. Just a quick story about it: I went to see some local bands play at a friends house show. The last band to perform was called Whales and Cops, if you can find any of their music I highly recommend a listen (ex members of the band "Man Man"). I had seen them before and was blown away however on this specific night they put on a performance while performing their music. There were lights, costumes, all different kinds of stuff to really make the music come alive. It left me wanting to try to recreate my experience just with more playfulness and weird stuff.
