Random journey, small bag packed
Experience goal, odds well stacked
Final glance, memories shadow close
Chance encounters, dreams of a ghost
Expectations level, growing inside
Adulthood explored, nowhere to hide
Road signs ignored, lights now attract
Hotel for sleep, refreshing her tact
Strangers stare, as if she’s well known
Confidence inside, steadily shown
Eye contract now, a handsome face
Wrinkled smile forms, her first embrace
Money secured, adventure extended
Phone calls ignored, by those offended
Destination unknown, first stone cast
Lessons of old, defined by her past
