I've been really thinking about what my next topic will be... And although I'm sure a large portion of my audience is probably here for my knowledge/thoughts on splinterlands, I wanted to discuss a subject that would be broader in range and have more substance. The reason I came up with Infinity as the focus is because of how poetic and well designed the word is. Take for example there is 8 characters in the word and if you turn it sideways it already is the symbol itself.
Dictionary.com defines infinity as
The most interesting thing I find about this definition is it literally uses its own word to definite itself. Infinite which also miraculous has 8 characters. We can use this as we choose to define the purpose of our life... We shouldn't let anyone's standards or limitations define us but we should define ourselves by our own actions.
There are 3 I's in the word infinity symbolic of your past present and future even all of which I feel are strategically placed. The first character being I (meaning you as an individual) and last letter being Y(ou) so it goes to show that all of us start with an I, but our focus should be in (you) the community members, your loved ones, or anyone of significance in your life.
(Or infinitE with the E standing for everyone)
I mean I can go on and on talking about how much I thought about this in the fact that I wanted to become a brand so big that I kept thinking far out the box and wanted it to one day be a Fraternity of sorts (Iota Nu) i.e. infinity network or IN so it would be in a since can you get "IN." Before my thoughts about having Infinity as a brand I tried to promote it as Different Dimension Gaming which also had a fraternal counterpart (delta delta gamma) so the basic idea is this is so much more than a normal blog or just a guild in a game. It is a passion project or my life's work as you will have it. The real question is how will it unfold...
[Infinity choices/community(ic) dao/decisions(id) foundation/fund(if) mission/music(i'm) network(in) questions(iq) solutions (is) team/tactics (it)] and yeah I literally have documentation somewhere pages of writings and thoughts about this and these were just off the top of my head. I am always willing to collaborate and work with people so just message me if you have any ideas. If we can think win-win I'm sure things will be okay or if at all possible win-win-win which benefits both parties and the community at large.
Where do I even begin and what are the next steps are always on my mind and that is where I got the thought to write about this as my 2nd post. Just as I deep dived into splinterlands and lead me to deep dive into the blogging world it got me to think... Ultimately in the end of the day it doesn't matter and it should really about the journey along the way. Somewhere down the line I lost my passion and joy that came from actually playing these games and for me all of this is a way to try to get it back. How does one find their passion once lost... I haven't found that answer yet but I know I won't find it given up or not doing anything.
I listened to something once that went along the lines of imagine yourself at your deathbead or funeral... who would you want to be there... what would you those people to say about you... what would you like to be remembered for... That is when I knew what I wanted to do was create something so big that at the end of everything what I would be leaving behind is something far greater than myself... a LEGACY.
Well I don't want this to get too long or many people probably won't even read through it but just wanted to give you a little into the insight of my mind before delving deeper into any one particular post or subject matter. I also apologize as this all probably isn't so pleasant to the eyes but I am not so tech savy and probably not the best at writing. I have many passion projects I've been working on in the backgrounds like #Tradeitforward (inspired by the movie pay it forward where I keep doing unfavorable trades from myself to others in which I just ask them to trade it forward to someone else)
All we can really do is control what we do today and everything in life stems from a commitment so I'm making a commitment to myself and to you the community to at LEAST make 1 post everyday. If I am really not feeling good on a particular day least I can do is come on to say good morning or spread a bit of positivity or a gif or something. The single thing we can all control is our own personal actions. So I'll cut myself off here and say this is the start of #DAY1 #INFINITY #InfinityMission
