Node.js was originally invented by Ryan Dhal in the year 2009 and is a cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment. It is considered to be one of the most used JavaScript frameworks across the industry. It is actually quite impressive, how many companies using the framework already. Some of them are: LinkedIn, Netflix, Uber, Paypal and many more to come.
Node.js can be found on Crowdin and on Github too.
For Node.js there are about 1 million words to be translated within the whole project. On Crowdin there are a lot of categories to be translated. I chose to work at the category n-api.md - which contains exactly 16.109 words. At the moment I don't really know how much code there will be and how many articles I will write about n-api.md. However, this is the second article regarding 'n-api.md' in Node.js.
N-API stands for next generation APIs and was developed for native addons. N-API is intendend to be an important milestone for Node.js to achieve full ABI stability.

From the heading Error Handling to the heading, including Fatal Errors, Microsoft Word counted 1357 words in total, without code and strings. However, the word count in Word including code and strings differ from the word count in Crowdin with about 30 words.
