Hello everyone, I think one of the most common plots we see in romantic comedies or humor about couples is when the girl is usually the strong one, or the tsundere or aggressive one, giving us that touch of laughter and irony that, to a certain extent, isn't far from reality with some people who are similar. Well-known characters include Akane Tendo from Ranma ½, who had this personality in the early seasons, or Risa Koisumi, whom I've talked about before in Lovely Complex, who also had this peculiar personality and gradually revealed her emotional side towards the person she liked. And well, in 2023 an anime came out that reminded me of this because sometimes the irony of a tsundere girl and a clueless guy can be very entertaining and even funny, so today I'll give you my opinion on "Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!"
Hola a todos, creo que una de las tramas que más común solemos ver en lo que es la comedia romántica o el humor entre parejas es cuando la chica suele ser la de la fuerza o la del carácter tsundere o algo agresivo, dándonos esa pizca de risa e ironía y que hasta cierto punto no llega a estar alejado de la realidad con algunas personas que suelen ser similares. Y bueno, en personajes muy conocidos tenemos a Akane Tendo de Ranma ½, que tenía en las primeras temporadas esta forma de ser, o bueno, Risa Koisumi, de quien he hablado antes en Lovely Complex, que también marcaba su forma de ser con esta peculiaridad y que poco a poco se va mostrando su personalidad emocional hacia quien le gusta. Y bueno, en 2023 justamente salió un anime que llegó a recordar porque a veces la ironía de una chica tsundere y un chico que no se entera de nada suele ser muy entretenido y hasta divertido, por lo que hoy les daré mi opinión sobre "Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!".

Su popularidad se basa en el arte, en la diversidad de personajes con características marcadas que vemos a lo largo de la trama y la imagen de Tomo como una chica ruda que, a pesar de todo, tiene sus inseguridades. Es un pequeño reflejo de cómo, a pesar de ciertas crisis y pensamientos, siempre vamos a sentir que falta o carecemos de algo, y no solo lo vemos con la rota, sino con personajes que se muestran tiernos y dulces y que a su vez llegan a sentir frustración, o aquellos donde no parece importarles nada, pero tienen esa necesidad de dependencia hacia quienes llegan a ser su centro.
From my perspective, this anime not only shows Jun's journey of accepting his feelings for Tomo, but also his insecurity because she's stronger than him, but each character's story and perspective are clearly adapted to realistic settings. This is one of the things that really catches my attention and appeals to me in certain anime that have this somewhat hidden, yet visible, subplot. You only need to pay a little attention to begin to notice these hidden lessons. The comedy is also a great complement; it's not absurd or over the top, but rather provides the balance needed to enjoy and understand the protagonists' journey and progress. Through the comedy, we also learn about the characters' development and how each one came to be. Therefore, it's definitely a good recommendation to watch and have a good time, and especially to recognize some similarities with people we know who have similar personalities. En sí, desde mi punto de vista, este anime no solo nos muestra el camino de Jun, aceptando que siente algo por Tomo, pero está inseguro porque ella es más fuerte que él, sino que cada personaje es una historia y perspectiva claramente adaptada a entornos reales, y eso en arte es de las cosas que me llegan a llamar la atención y gustar mucho en ciertos animes que tienen esta subtrama algo escondida, pero visible, y no más basta restarle atención de más para comenzar a detallar estas enseñanzas ocultas que van mostrando, y aun así la comedia complementa mucho, pues no es una absurda o que busque exagerar, sino que se presenta como ese balance para que disfrutemos y entendamos bien el regreso y avance que van a tener los protagonistas y también, por medio de la comedia, nos inducen arte del asado y cómo se fueron formando cada integrante del anime, por lo que sin duda es una buena recomendación para ver y pasar un buen rato y sobre todo reconocer alguna similitud con quienes conozcamos que tengan personalidades parecidas.
