In today's era that must be demanded all sophisticated and follow the movement of the times, the technology has penetrated into the world of our education. We see conventional teaching, where Master explains to the students, writes on the blackboard, then the Disciples are told to record it fully into their own books. Is this effective? I do not think personally, because it takes too much time just to write or copy it to a notebook. But there are still some who use this old school teaching in an era that is fast-paced and sophisticated today.
We see some schools or teachers who use an unusual teaching system, they use a projector, a projector that used to be used only among office people can now be applied in school. That is the progress of teaching and learning systems that should have been applied and developed in schools. What are the benefits for the progress of our education system, of course many benefits. From the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities, the classroom atmosphere is not saturated, and make the students become more aware that the importance of technology for school activities.
The more here morals and attitudes of students in Indonesia has begun to fade, adab increasingly disregarded, the norm is no longer important. An ironic fact indeed, but it is true. From different levels of education the same is no different, elementary school has started smoking. Yes, elementary school children now have the courage to try to smoke a cigarette, practically still in childhood alone have dared to smoke. SMP dare to commit immoral acts that have clearly violated the norms of both religion and social. SMA / equivalent unremitting brawl that is obviously no benefit for both sides of the warring. There are still many cases where the moral loss of students in Indonesia. Actually the school is not only a place to seek knowledge and make us clever, but also the container we learn to socialize and socialize in the school environment. Train our intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence. Therefore, the school must also consider the attitude and moral aspects of the students, not only about the cleverness and smart students but there is no moral in the students.
Well, the government also issued a new curriculum for education in Indonesia, the curriculum 2013. Curriculum 2013 is, a curriculum that prioritizes understanding, skill, and character education, students are required to understand the material, active in discussions and presentations and have the courtesy of discipline high. This curriculum replaces Education Unit Level Curriculum implemented since 2006. According to my personal curriculum 2013 is concerned in the aspects of soft skills, where students are more seen from his attitude or attitude in school. Hopefully with the existence of the curriculum 2013 attitude and morals of the students can be better in the future, can make students not only concerned with academic value but also the value of attitude that will be able to form the character of the students become a person who has the nature of leadership, taqwa, faithful and polite & polite.
But why do I notice on the other hand the students even feel harmed by this new curriculum. They feel the objection to study with this 2013 curriculum. What causes it. It turns out that caused it because students are required to play an active role in the activities of KBM. Well, this is the problem, because in the previous curriculum the students only play a passive role, that is where the teacher perceives and the students only receive lessons from the Guru. In addition to the curriculum of 2013 is also added learning hours, which usually home from 12:00 to 13:00, now can be until 15:00 - 17:00. Perhaps the students are not familiar and still in the process of adaptation with this 2013 curriculum. Hopefully the future of education in Indonesia can be even better and create students who are intellectual, emotional, and spiritual.
The spirit continues in science, because there is no end of the study. Science is not only gained from school, much science can learn out there.
