Residing at the core of every human being is the desire to be fully seen. Not just to be acknowledged, but to really be seen in a very raw and authentic way, to be felt on a very deep and intimate level. So many of us ignore this desire, thinking that we are selfish or unworthy of such genuine connection. In this, we could not be further from our Truth.

As human beings, we are all meant to be fully expressive in the uniqueness of who we are. This being the case, the fullness of this expression was not created to simply be ignored or overlooked. It was meant to be fully seen, fully taken in and felt, for all that it is. What would be the point in a brilliant artist creating a masterpiece if no one was to perceive its beauty, intricacy, and form? The whole intention behind its creation was for the artist to communicate an aspect of herself/himself so that the uniqueness of who they are may be received.

We are all masterpieces of creation, therefore it is built into the very core of our nature to be fully received by another being. In being fully received by another, a very deep, ancient yearning is met by the light of the present moment. And in this moment, the whole meaning of existence is suspended and celebrated in the air between expresser and receiver. In this, a very old, primordial call has been answered, and in this moment, however brief it may be, a form of genuine atonement has been achieved, on levels far deeper than the rational mind can comprehend.

This very deep desire to be seen is Divine in origin. God yearns, with all that It is, to be expressed through the individual. "Your" deep desire to be seen is really God's unrelenting desire to be revealed and beheld through you. We are all the direct mediums of Divine expression, and unless we accept this as an integral aspect of our nature, we will feel neglected and abandoned on some level. In honoring our desire to be seen, we honor the desire of the Inner Self that yearns to be openly revealed in all of It's shining glory.

One of the most healing things we can do for ourselves is to allow ourselves to be truthfully and deeply seen, felt, heard, and taken in by another.

One of the most healing things we can do for another is to truthfully and deeply see, feel, hear and take them in.

How much are you allowing yourself to be really seen? How much are you allowing yourself to really see others?

These will be very important questions to ask ourselves as we move forward. Life is calling us to embody our Soul in more direct ways, and in this we are also being called to support ourselves and each other more intimately through this process.

God bless you all, as you make strides into bearing the fruits of your Soul <3
