Hello to all of you dear Hive Tr readers, I haven't been able to post much lately because I've been having problems with the internet. I think I will solve this soon, but for now it looks like I won't be very active. Anyway, last week I went to visit a bazaar in Adana, which is probably different from any bazaar I've seen before or even any bazaar you've seen. The difference is that it is an American bazaar.

I was here for the first time years ago and it was much different then. People were more friendly and warm. And the prices were much more reasonable. I'm not going to start complaining about the prices because if I do, it might take too long. So why is it called the American Bazaar?

I asked one of the vendors the first time I was there and he told me that most of the products here belonged to the soldiers who were stationed at the American base in Adana. He even said exactly like this. "They send them sacks and sacks of goods and they give us their surplus shoes and stuff at very cheap prices. We sell them." I was very surprised when I first heard it.

Now that I have told his story, we can go inside. There are many shops inside and all of them are just one room. Some are bigger, some are smaller, but I have never seen a shop with two rooms. As you can see, there are products everywhere. Really everywhere. Normally this place is the size of a single shoe store, but the fact that there are 20 shops inside made people fill every space as much as possible.

Look at this shoe in my hand. It's unbelievable for a human to wear this hahaha. It's supposed to be giant. The price was 550 TL, which is where things get weird. These shoes are normally at least 2500-3000 TL but here they are very affordable. If I liked that shoe a lot and was going to buy it, I probably could have gotten it even cheaper with a little bargaining.

The price of this one was 600 TL. That's about 32 dollars. I liked the shoe but I didn't have cash on me. This is a big problem because the shops here are cash only. Maybe I can buy this shoe next time I visit. As I said, you can negotiate and if you are a good negotiator you can't even imagine how low the prices will go. I bet you can buy a 600 TL shoe for 400 TL hahaha.

I came here with my cousin and she wanted to buy a pair of Converse. The old model ones. Out of 20 stores, there was only one store that sold Converse shoes and she couldn't find what she wanted. She liked one but they didn't have the right size for her feet.

Here are more shoes. There were so many that I liked and I couldn't make up my mind, but there are a few that I really like and next time I'll pick one out and buy it.

By the way, there are not only shoes inside. There are some great jackets. Their prices are also quite affordable compared to the market, but there is one thing you should pay attention to. Although many of the products here are original, not all of them are. Some vigilant sellers put fake shoes among the original products and try to sell them. You need to be careful with this.

After I left, I walked to the bus with a wonderful view. Sometimes the streets of Adana remind me of Florida 😂. Just kidding because Florida is not as good as Adana 🤣🤣.

Before I finished my article, I remembered a shopping I used to do there. Four years ago I bought a pair of shoes there for 80 TL which was 400 TL in the market. The seller told me it was 140 TL at first and I bargained it down to almost half the price lol 😂.

Sanırım bunu yakın zamanda çözeceğim ancak şimdilik pek aktif olamayacağım gibi görünüyor. Her neyse geçen hafta Adana'da bir pazarı gezmeye gittim. Daha önce gördüğüm ve hatta sizin gördüğünüz pazarlardan muhtemelen daha farklı bir pazar. Farkı ise pazarın Amerikan pazarı olması.

Ben buraya ilk defa bundan yıl önce gelmiştim ve o zamanlar çok daha farklıydı. İnsanlar daha samimi ve sıcaktı. Haliyle fiyatlar da çok daha uygundu. Fiyatlar konusunda şikayet etmeye başlamayacağım çünkü başlarsam bu çok uzun sürebilir. Peki buraya neden Amerikan Pazarı deniyor?

Bunu oraya ilk defa gittiğimde satıcılardan birine sormuştum ve buradaki ürünlerin çoğunun Adana'daki Amerikan üssünde bulunan askerlere ait olduğunu söylemişti. Hatta tam olarak şöyle söylemişti. "Onlara çuval çuval yolluyorlar, onlar da fazlalık ayakkabılarını ve eşyalarını bize çok ucuzdan veriyor. Biz de satıyoruz." İlk duyduğumda çok şaşırmıştım.

Hikayesini anlattığıma göre artık içeriye geçebiliriz. İçeride bir sürü dükkan var ve hepsi tek odadan ibaret. Bazıları daha büyük bazıları daha küçük ancak hiç iki odalı bir dükkan görmedim. Gördüğünüz gibi her yerde ürünler var. Gerçekten her yerde. Normalde burası tek bir ayakkabı mağazası büyüklüğünde ama içeride 20 dükkan olması insanların her alanı olabildiğince doldurmasını sağlamış.

Şu ayakkabının elimde duruşuna bakın. Bunu bir insanın giymesi inanılmaz hahaha. Resmen dev gibi olması gerekiyor. Fiyatı 550 TL'ymiş ki işler burada garipleşiyor. Bu ayakkabılar normalde en az 2500-3000 TL ama burada çok uygun. O ayakkabıyı çok beğenmiş ve alacak olsaydım muhtemelen biraz pazarlıkla daha da ucuza alabilirdim.

Bunun fiyatı da 600 TL'ydi. Yaklaşık 32 dolar yapıyor. Ayakkabıyı beğendim ancak üzerimde nakit yoktu. Bu da büyük bir problem çünkü buradaki dükkanlar sadece nakit çalışıyor. Belki bir dahaki gelişimde bu ayakkabıyı alabilirim. Dediğim gibi pazarlık yapabilirsiniz ve iyi bir pazarlıkçıysanız fiyatların ne kadar aşağı düşeceğini tahmin bile edemezsiniz. 600 TL olan bir ayakkabıyı 400 TL'ye alabileceğinize bahse girerim hahaha.

Buraya kuzenimle birlikte geldik ve o da bir Converse almak istiyordu. Eski model olanlardan. 20 mağazanın içinden Converse marka ayakkabı satan sadece bir tane dükkan varmış ve onda da istediğini bulamadı. Bir tane beğenmişti ama onun da ayağına olan numarası yokmuş.

İşte daha fazla ayakkabı. Aralarında beğendiğim çok fazla vardı ve karar veremedim. Ama çok beğendiğim birkaç tane var ve bir dahaki gelişimde aralarından bir tanesini seçip alacağım.

Bu arada içeride sadece ayakkabılar yok. Harika ceketler de var. Onların da fiyatları piyasaya göre oldukça uygun ancak dikkat etmeniz gereken bir nokta var. Buradaki birçok ürün orijinal olsa da hepsi değil. Bazı uyanık satıcılar orijinal ürünlerin arasına sahte ayakkabılar da koyuyorlar ve satmaya çalışıyorlar. Buna dikkat etmeniz gerekiyor.

Oradan ayrıldıktan sonra harika bir manzara eşliğinde otobüse yürüdüm. Bazen Adana'nın sokakları bana Florida'yı andırıyor. Sadece şaka yapıyorum 😂. Çünkü Florida Adana kadar iyi değil 🤣🤣.
