- Download Exodus Cryptocurrency wallet from https://www.exodus.io/
(Fees are minimal and it holds several different currencies)
. - Select EOS
- Find your Receive address as shown in the picture above.
- Go to https://shapeshift.io/#/coins
- Select the specific coins you want to trade for EOS (or any cryptocurrency you want for that matter)
- Click Continue
- Type in the address you found from your Exodus Wallet
- Type in your refund address from the account you are sending the currency from (in my case, an Ethereum address)
- They will provide you an address to send your coin(s) to start the exchange.
- Send your coin(s) to the address and wait for them to exchange it (Took me a total of 4 minutes)
- After it says the transaction is complete, go check you Exodus wallet (coins should be there instantly)
