Hi, guys!

Today is the end of my first week of the new course. This is a very interesting experience, I can feel my knowledge growing. It's great that this time I have an adequate teacher, who is easy and pleasant to learn from.

Next week I will need to look into drop shadow blending. If last week we analyzed the method of overlaying the objects' own shadows, now we need to combine them with the falling ones. Next, you will need to add a wrap around, and the work with shadows will be completed.

I did something new today. I realized that I needed to reorganize my daily plan again, because so much falls out of it. For example, music lessons. It would seem that this does not take so much time, an hour a day will be enough if you do it regularly, but so far I have not succeeded in this either. It's hard for me to understand where the time is disappearing, so now I redistributed the sections in the timeular application and started tracking the time more closely.

I understand that it will not be possible to paint everything up to the minute, and even more so to follow this crazy schedule, in which there are absolutely no gaps. I really hope that it will become easier further when the focus of the course shifts from lectures to drawing. It's funny that completing an assignment is much easier for me than listening to a lecture on how to do it. Not that I was bored, but still. Lectures take a lot of time, which is often not available. But where does it go?

I labeled one of the sections of the appendix as "study and planning". I only have eight sections, so I've combined some similar tasks. For example, writing a blog and writing a book. Blogging takes about half an hour a day, while sometimes I can do a book for 8 hours a day. But at the moment I don't have that much time for this task, so I left an hour a day to write the book. It will be a slow process, but it will go on, and progress in any business is the most important thing. It will be slower, but it will still be.

Besides, I really want to start making music again. Twice a week I go to the vocals, but that's not enough. I have three instruments that I play: flute, piano and guitar. And each one takes time and attention.

I will update how it went tomorrow, and until than - next chapter of my book:

"The magician tried to push the whopper away from him, thinking that she was determined to gnaw his throat, but, apparently, the life of the elf was not too interested in the creature. Did it ... feel it?

In the end, the creature squeaked in satisfaction and thrust a tentacle into the sleeve of the magician's black cloak. She pulled a silver dagger from his wrist and ... She devoured it.
With a sated belch, the scorpion-spider cross left the elf and turned to Jane, who stood dumbfounded nearby with her sword at the ready.

A second - and the girl's sword suffered the same fate. But in that second, the magician managed to get up and release another jet of fire at the hybrid, incinerating the creature to the bone.

Felix and Bereznik dealt with the remaining goblins, and soon everything was quiet.

The tiefling scanned the battlefield. More precisely, the cave of the battle.

-Look like that's it.

Lars, transforming into a man, walked with a brisk step to the mountain of barrels cut by Bereznik.

-All, but not all. One remained.

In the darkest corner, the last green-skinned goblin trembled with fear. He was injured, but not fatally. Green hands gripped a crooked dagger.

-Are you sick? -Lars tried to make his voice sound as friendly as possible when a second ago you filled the cave with a bear roar.

-What!

-What?

-Yes, Che!

-What do you mean? I ask - who are you?

-I Che!

-Is that a name or what?

-What?

-No, niche ...

-What's here!

Lars put his fingers to his temples and tilted his head slightly.

-I don't understand anything ...

-What?

-I don't understand, I say! What ...

-What?

-Yes, not human, but why did you attack us?

-The owner said to protect the cave! And you attacked us!

-And who is your master?

The goblin cringed and almost cried.

-Che is good, Che is loyal to the owner, Che will not tell ...

-Listen, Che, -Felix came up, put his hand on Lars's shoulder, -Now, either we are your masters, or you can join your brothers in a different, better world.

The goblin shrank even more.

-Che smart, Che understands when it is necessary to make the right decision.

The goblin walked over to Felix and bowed awkwardly.

-Master?

The tiefling nodded gravely.

-Master. You just need to come up with a different name, otherwise ...

-What?

-Exactly. We will go crazy if you endlessly react to every "Th".

See you in the next post!
Love, Inber
