Hi, guys!
So, another day after the surgery. I'm starting to feel better, the pain isn't as bad, and I can at least rest a little. But of course, it's still hard to move, and I have to choose what I do and what I don't. This morning we went to the hospital for blood work and an ultrasound, and so far everything's fine, and I think it will stay that way. So now I just have to wait for everything to heal.
My energy is very low, of course, so I'm having to sleep a lot. Otherwise, I'm mainly working on the scrolling text; that's where all my energy goes. Then I'll have to reassemble it all, and of course, that will be a huge amount of work, but for now I'm just putting together the main body of work that I'll work on later.
Right now, my beta is reading individual sections, from which I'll later form the backbone of the text. Right now, the main task is to fully formulate the plot and fill in all the logical holes. The text turned out complex and dense, and it's difficult to keep it coherent. But I hope I can handle it. So for now, I'm just following my characters and seeing how things unfold.
I don't know if my beta has realized yet that the main Nero has no other options at the end but to die. Or will it come as a surprise to her? We'll see.
Actually, I'll be very sad to see him go, but I built the world in such a way that there was simply no other option. And now I have to somehow live through it. I have no idea yet how dark it will be. I hope the author will live through what they wrote.
Generally, literature is queer, but it turns out that it's written in a simplistic manner again. It's never explicitly stated that the characters are gay. I wonder if anyone thinks that.
So it turns out that I've written a book about relationships again without actually writing one. And how do I manage that?
Have a great day, everyone!
