Yesterday I had a holiday of the year, a day that I love almost as much as my own birthday. I have run out of my diary and it's time to buy and arrange a new one.
I prefer exclusively paper diaries. They are more sincere and give a wide scope for creativity. For many years I have been using diaries from the same company, Gifts Kraft. They have many fields you need to plan throughout the year, from the financial plan for the year to the list of movies you would like to watch.
And yesterday was that very special day when I bought and designed a new diary for myself.
It's worth noting right away that my planner swells twice even before the first recording. I love stickers, and right after setting the months and dates, the first thing I do is glue a few stickers to each page. They are not planning, they just cheer me up for the week.
Yesterday the whole process took me about 5 hours, and it really cheered me up. There is some special magic in planning, soothing and balancing.
Such a funny fox will now accompany me throughout the next year.
Today I managed to see a doctor, and now I have begun the procedure of official registration. I didn’t expect it to be fast, but I didn’t expect so many formalities either. Tomorrow I will go for a psychological examination, it must be very interesting.
And after that there will be that very first meeting of the support group, because of which I was worried all week. I still need to run into the store and buy sweets to treat the participants. As far as I understand, it is practiced there on an ongoing basis. I'm still very worried, but I think everything will go well.
And I certainly feel much calmer now that I again have a fresh daily planner in which I can write down all my plans, and then happily cross them out as I complete them. Previously, I still used asterisk stickers for the days when I managed to accomplish everything I had planned, but then I realized that this creates unnecessary stress and stopped.
