I’ve spent the whole week editing the same scene from my book—not because it’s complex, but simply because it turned out massive. It’s taking ages to work through. I hope to finally finish it today, though, because I just can't stand looking at it anymore. Once I’m done, I want to take a break from the text for a few days; it’s becoming unbearable, and I’m completely drained. I’m just worn out by the work itself. On top of that, I need to sit down and map out the characters' logic so they don't drift aimlessly between scenes. There are so many of them to keep track of, and right now, they tend to wander all over the place—mostly because the text is so huge, causing everything to lose focus and pull in different directions.
So, I need to get everything aligned. That will take time, of course, but it’s something I just have to accept. It’s no big deal—we’ll get it done and then carry on writing. After all, if I don't do it now, things will only get messier later. It shouldn't take that long, so I’ll probably tackle it this week.
I also received some cool perfume that looks exactly like something characters from my world would own. Now I want to collect the whole set; it looks incredibly stylish and fits the vibe of my world perfectly.
For today, though, I need to make a trip to the post office—hopefully a quick one: pick up a package, send a package. Tomorrow, I want to start going to the gym again—another little feat for the sake of my health. I hope I can actually get up in the morning and do it.
