Hi, guys!

So, for now, I’m still working very actively on the book. My beta readers are currently going through the world-building document and looking for logical inconsistencies; I read their comments and fix the issues as I go, so the process is inching forward.

I’m not really diving into the main plot just yet; instead, I’m working on individual story arcs. I still need to flesh out the details for every character who plays an active role in the story. There’s a huge amount of work to do, but I’m taking it more in stride now—mostly because I’m on massive doses of tranquilizers just to cope with what’s happening in the country. The constant bombing raids are exhausting, and my mental health is struggling to hold up. Still, all things considered, I’ve adapted, and my book has played a significant part in that. At one point, I started perceiving the sounds of explosions simply as background noise for my own fictional setting. So, what can I say? I’ve completely lost my marbles.

Today, I need to film an ad and do at least a little reading. These might seem like easy tasks, but right now, they feel overwhelming. That’s how it always is when you simply don’t want to do what needs to be done. That’s exactly where I’m at right now—I just don’t want to do the necessary work. But I have to do it anyway, so I’ll straighten my back and get to work. After all, these are actually enjoyable activities, so I think I’ll manage to get through it. For the ad, I have to assemble a construction set, so that’ll take some time, but I hope it’s not too complicated and that I can pull it off. I don’t usually like taking on these kinds of promotional gigs, but I couldn’t resist this one because it’s a Harry Potter set. So, an exciting journey into a beloved universe awaits me, but I hope it won't be too long, because I want to get back to my own as soon as possible.

Have a great day, everyone!
