As a medium sized minnow, it's nice to be able to offer something to those who have just begun their journey here on HIVE.

Some of my posts do quite well while others fall flat. The last contest I ran awarded 1 lucky HIVEIAN both rewards. Nobody else entered, making the decision of who to choose as the winner very easy for me.

But that's not really the way this thing is supposed to work. What do I get out of it? Well, I do get to keep the HP the post earns. Better than that, I get exposure to other Hiveians I may not have come across through my usual feed.

What Can You Do With The Esteem Token?

Authors can use Esteem (soon to be Ecency) in a couple of manners. They can boost a low earning post, calling votes over from the Esteem team.

Another choice authors have is to Promote a post for 1 or more days. It'll will then appear regularly for those days on the Esteem feed.

Pretty cool, huh? You do have to post using the Esteem App to make use of this reward.

What can you do with the HBD earnings? Anything you want. Cash em out, exchange them to another coin, or power up more HIVE. It's up to you.

Simply paste a link in the comments to your most recent post. You have until the post pays out in 7 days to do so, so choose a good one.

Two separate winners will be chosen by yours truly (that's me!) after the post pays out.

Do You Have To Upvote & Resteem?

No is the short answer. Take heed though, that promoting this post to the best of your ability will help increase the HBD winnings.
