Naturally, I never like to admit when I'm sick. I'm not sure if it's a guy thing or what. . .

I live in a tropical island, and we have a flu season similar like in the USA. The odd thing is that doctors here never really seem to pinpoint or name the sickness. They just like to say "oh something viral is going around." I frankly don't like that answer because if I'm sick I'd like to know what it is.
Anyways, today is a sick day for me. I don't like it because I have to sort of stop everything and fix myself. I have learned that instead of pushing my and going to work sick, I incur more damage then just staying home. If I go to work, I might infect employees and I do not really get much done. So now when I get sick, I just stay home to purposely rest and recover as soon as possible.
This is much easier on my body, and less stressful. The flu or whatever it is will shorten its time if I'm continuously treating it for one or two days.
So I'll take a shot of cough syrup to toast; here's the sick days always giving me a reality check to stop and take care of myself.

I hope you are all well.
