Although access to Central London and the ease of commuting are quite easy, one can walk around to go places. As it is very compact, locals and tourists find walking enjoyable. Some even jog in going to work.
Of course, London is nothing without its' underground transport, making it easier to travel around inner and outer London.
CYCLING
Cycling to work is a favorite transport, even some of our doctor consultants have been seen carrying their small bikes to the ward, the bigger ones have their own parking around the hospital.
For a few years now, London introduced this mode of transport by building cycle lanes, as well as rentable bikes using bank cards.
These bikes are a bit heavy and a bit difficult to maneuver. Of course it gets easier once used to it. Cycle docks can be found around the city.
I saw these electric bikes as i walked to my bus stop this morning after work. I didn't realised that these are also available nowadays.
Cheers!
