The much anticipated Blockchain Road Tour 1.0 (#BRT2019) has started today at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomosho. You must have read here on twitter about #BRT2019, it is the first gospel tour about the Blockchain. Not just an ordinary tour but filled with so many plans and fun packages along the way.
BRT will get to 3 Universities in Nigeria. Apart from the institution mentioned above, the train will move to Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in ile-ife then to Ondo State University of Science and Technology in Ondo State. Two state-owned universities and a federal one. This is highly commendable as it bridges the gap between adoption and education. Adoption in terms of early adoption and education in terms of basic and important knowledge of Blockchain Technology generally.
University students always seek opportunities around to learn and as well, earn. Most of them make little mistakes which may affect them. The thorough education by Crypto Entrepreneurs, Ambassadors and Enthusiasts will impact them with the knowledge they need and encourage them to understand that Cryptocurrency has come to say despite the government's open stand against it. The students will also win freebies and have the opportunity to rub minds with people that can actually help their Blockchain Journey. We shouldn't forget the fun aspect as there is a turn on about a visit to a waterfall. Yes, there is a waterfall in Nigeria and it is extremely beautiful I must confess.
With pleasure, I will join the train from OAU to OSUSTECH. I love attending Blockchain seminars because I always learn something new all the time and the networking aspect too. I have met with great people online which is a good plus for my ideas and projects I am currently working on.
