This hits hard... as someone who have openly written these kinds of reflection before.... looking back, I wasn't able to prepare for unexpected happenings that it made me stall and shift my interests into towards something else.
While it is true that most of us, even though we try to reflect, do not actually take action on the things we've seen and realized within. We take the time to ponder but lacks the effort to change something - reason why we started reflecting firsthand.
But I guess, it's our nature to forget sometimes. I want to think that things happen for a reason. And if it's something so important to you, such as the end result of reflecting, you will for sure do what it takes to turn that realization into something positive.
