Have had a lot of nickname overtime, some I chose myself, and some I was given.
There are lots of story behind every nick I have got but I'll summarize and focus on the big one.
When I was born my parents decided to name me Emmanuel and Ifeoluwa (which means God's beloved), but since since then have had a lot of nickname some from abbreviation of my name and some acronym of all my name (Ife,Emmy,Emmano and lots more).
Sometimes nickname is gotten from behavior or attitude of a person just like a girl nicknamed ''snail'' because she was too slow, sometimes it might be that you are good at something just like I was nicknamed "Forlan'' on the football field, I was called so because I was very good at football then especially at passes, I was very good in long pass and shot, all this came but didn't last long because only few set of people called me that.
NICKNAME EXPERIENCE,HOW IT STARTED
Starting from my primary school days I was called ''pointed nose'' which I was named by one of my primary school uncle because naturally I have a pointed nose, even though I was being called "pointed nose " at school nobody knew at home because my school was far from home, hardly do I see my school mate in my area , which made no one to know me by the name.
At the long run, I graduated from the school and had to continue my secondary school in another school which was even more far away compared to my previous school, it was so far that I had to wake up by 5:30 am or 6am to meet up ,so most of the times I couldn't be able to comb my hair, so my hair looks untidy most of the times.
It was a particular day when a new teacher was employed came to the class and ask me why my hair is disheleved like ''igbe ayan" (igbe ayan is a yoruba word which means cockroach faeces) ,I was so annoyed of course but my class mate took it as my nickname, that was how I got my first nickname even though it's a bad one I never wanted, the nickname became popular that almost everyone in the school knows me and they would come to check someone who bears such weird nickname, I had to just accept it till I left the school.
MY BEST NICK
Even though I had a lot of nickname previously, I have only loved there nickname of my life ; IMACULATE, EMMY, PHOENIX.
IMACULATE ; was given to me by one of my area brothers then, even though I was very younger than him ,we were very close that people would think we are sibling or even twin.
There was this day , just a normal day ,we were together and he just called me by the name "imaculate'', I was so surprised and had to ask him where he got the name, later I had to find out it's a word in the dictionary which means "Clean" ,I so much love the nick name that I had to tell people to start calling me.
EMMY : I was named Emmy by a corp member mate of mine when I was serving ''corper kemi" 
I believed she named me that because of my name Emmanuel and I surely like the nick, especially the way she calls it.
PHOENIX ; There's a long story attached to this, but it has been the best nickname of my life and I'll just summarize it.
I was nicknamed "phoenix'' when in my days in higher institution by a stranger who later became one of my best friends.
It was a tutorial morning and the tutor was solving mathematics for us, after his explanation ,he then asked us to solve questions on the board, before a twinkle of an eye, I was done while the others were still battling with it.
He then asked me to come and solve it on the board,that day I was putting on a cloth which the word '' phoenix was written at it's back'' it wasn't customized by me ,it was some T-shirt I bought randomly ,none of them knows my name but they noticed the name at the back of my cloth, they thought it was customized and that was how I got my best nickname.
