Hello guys, today I'd like to talk about Sonny boy, an exeptionall piece of art that have been stuck in my head since the first time I watched it.
Long story short, the anime starts when a group of students suddenly gets stuck in a dark void where nothing exits outside the school, nor even time. Some of these students, for some reason, are blessed with powers. And thats it, basically thats the whole show, theres not much explination, every episode works like a puzzle that doesnt really fit all the pieces together, but still youll get a glimpse of the full picture.
I know it seems abstract, and it is, so let me tell you why you should watch the show.

1. Its visually one of the most striking series Ive watch. Its simple, clean, but insanely creative, putting the characters and you as a spectator in some gorgeous landscapes and surreal situations, plus, the animation its really really good.

2. The music, or the lack of it, its extremely original. Almost the entire show runs with 0 music on the background, in complete silent except from the dialogues. This makes the moment when the music starts impactfull and epic, trust me, be sure to have some tissues.

1. The story its confusing, but thats the point. Tge series its more about the journey through the surreal and personal landscapes rather than the classical linear story arc.

If youre into surreal stories that prioritize characters growth over linear forms of storytelling, with deep relationships between each one of them and a deep philoshopical background, with striking visuals and an amazing use of ost, this is for you.

Hola chicos, hoy me gustaría hablar de Sonny Boy, una obra de arte excepcional que se me ha quedado grabada desde la primera vez que la vi.

En resumen, el anime comienza cuando un grupo de estudiantes se queda atrapado en un vacío oscuro donde nada sale de la escuela, ni siquiera el tiempo. Algunos de estos estudiantes, por alguna razón, tienen poderes. Y eso es todo, básicamente esa es la serie: no hay mucha explicación, cada episodio funciona como un rompecabezas que no encaja todas las piezas, pero aun así, te dará una idea del panorama completo.
Sé que parece abstracto, y lo es, así que déjenme decirles por qué deberían ver la serie.

1. Visualmente es una de las series más impactantes que he visto. Es simple, limpia, pero increíblemente creativa, y te coloca a ti, como espectador, en paisajes preciosos y situaciones surrealistas. Además, la animación es realmente buena.

1. La música, o la falta de ella, es extremadamente original. Casi toda la serie transcurre sin música de fondo, en completo silencio, salvo por los diálogos. Esto hace que el momento en que empieza la música sea impactante y épico; créeme, asegúrate de llevar pañuelos.

2. La historia es confusa, pero ese es el punto. La serie se centra más en el viaje a través de paisajes surrealistas y personales que en el clásico arco argumental lineal.
