Hi guys! it's ILL FELLA here again, this time to talk about a good movie.
The movie im going to be talking about is called 'Killing Them Softly'.
It had a $15,000,000.00 USD budget and made $37.9 million at the box office
Killing Them Softly is a crime drama, starring: Brad Pitt, Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta, Vincent Curatola, Scoot McNairy & Ben Mendelsohn with appearance by Slaine.
The movie is about 2 men (Frankie & Russel played by Scoot & Ben) who need work, so they meet up with John (Vincent Curatola) who gives them the idea to rob a Card Game hosted by Marky Tratman (Ray Liotta). The Card game had already been robbed by Marky years ago but he'd been forgiven, so Frankie & Russel would be setting him up and blaming him for the robbery this time. Frankie & Russel show up to the card game, with a ridiculous sawn off shot gun, a revolver, 2 pair of yellow dish washing gloves (LOL) & pantyhose over their heads. Frankie & Russel walk into the card game & everyone goes silent. Frankie insists everyone put their hands up & a few people start moving so he becomes more aggressive. Russel then takes Marky in the back room to get the large suit cases full of money. After Russel has the big cases of Money, Frankie insists everyone in the room empty their pockets and insists he & russel will knock everyones teeth out if they refuse to hand over everything they have. They leave with all the money & seem to get away with the robbery. Jackie cogan (Brad Pitt) is hired by mafia bosses to locate the money and deal with the robbers.
He meets up with the bosses driver (Richard Jenkins) and they decide they have to kill Marky because even if it wasn't him who did the robbery, him doing it years ago is the reason it happened today. Jackie & Driver also discuss the fact that they know it was John, Russel & Frankie who did the robbery this time so they decide they'll fly Mickey (James Gandolfini) into town and pay him $15,000.00 to wack Frankie & Russel while Jackie kills John. Mickey flies into town, but spends his time engaging in sexual intercourse with hookers and getting so intoxicated he gets arrested. Jackie has to deal with the murders himself. Russel teams up with jackies get away driver (slaine) to drive a bunch of pure bred dogs to Florida and sell them, but as it happens the GET AWAY Driver (slaine) is friends with the mob bosses. Russel ends up blabbing his mouth off to the get away driver about the robbery & it gets back to the mob bosses & Jackie. Jackie & getaway driver (Slaine) find Marky n kill him first, then Jackie uses his inside information to get Russel arrested for Heroin. Then Jackie finds Frankie. Jackie found Frankie in a bar & convinced him to lead him to John. Jackie shoots John from a distance with a high powered rifle. Jackie gets back in his car & lets Frankie be his get away driver. As Jackie leaves Frankie & the car to go to his own he shoots Frankie in the head. Jackie then goes to a local bar to meet driver (Richard Jenkins) and get his money. Driver passes Jackie his envelope full of money and asks if he wants to count it. Jackie says he'll count it in a few because he has to piss. Jackie counts the money and comes back stating there isn't enough money there, and demands more. Driver tells him that he gets paid what the other hitmen get paid and nothing more Jackie insists that the driver pays him & the story is over.
